Mega-menu build
Once a store passes about thirty products, the default dropdown stops helping people find things. A mega-menu turns navigation into merchandising — categories, featured products and imagery in one panel, with a mobile drawer that behaves properly rather than collapsing into an unusable list.
What’s included
- Multi-column desktop panel driven by your existing navigation menus
- Optional featured image or promo block per column
- A matching mobile drawer with accessible open and close behavior
- Keyboard navigable and screen-reader sane
- Editable in the theme customizer, not hard-coded
Not included
- Restructuring your category tree, which is a merchandising decision
- Custom illustration for the promo blocks
Anything on the right is still something we do — it is simply a separate task, quoted separately, so this one keeps a fixed scope and a fixed price.
When it is done, you will have
- 1The change live on your store, published only after you approve it
- 2A clean diff you are welcome to read
- 3A short written note covering what changed and why
Before we start, we will need
- Collaborator access to your Shopify admin
- A sentence or a screenshot describing what you want
Questions people ask first
Do I have to rebuild my navigation?
No. It reads the navigation menus you already have in Shopify admin, so your team keeps editing links in the same place. If your menu structure needs rethinking we will say so, but that is your call and not part of this task.
Will it slow the page down?
It should not. The panel markup ships with the page and the images are lazy-loaded, so there is no extra request until someone hovers. If your header is already heavy we will flag it.
