Fix: stretched or distorted images
Stretched imagery is the fastest way to make a store look unfinished, and it is almost always a CSS sizing rule fighting an image of an unexpected shape rather than a problem with the photos themselves.
What’s included
- Find where aspect ratio is being forced or lost
- Fix sizing and cropping across the affected templates
- Set sensible behavior for images that are not the expected shape
- Check the fix at every breakpoint
Not included
- Re-cropping or retouching your image library
- Re-shooting product photography
Anything on the right is still something we do — it is simply a separate task, quoted separately, so this one keeps a fixed scope and a fixed price.
When it is done, you will have
- 1The change live on your store, published only after you approve it
- 2A clean diff you are welcome to read
- 3A short written note covering what changed and why
Before we start, we will need
- Collaborator access to your Shopify admin
- A sentence or a screenshot describing what you want
Questions people ask first
Do I need to re-upload all my images?
Usually not. The fix is in how the theme sizes them, so mixed-aspect images render correctly without touching the library. If some images are genuinely too small to display well, we will tell you which.
