Core Web Vitals: fix your CLS
Cumulative Layout Shift is the page moving under the reader's thumb — an image loading without reserved space, a font swapping, a banner injecting late. It is one of the most fixable vitals, and one of the most irritating to a shopper mid-tap.
What’s included
- Identify every shifting element with measured shift scores
- Reserve space for images, embeds and late-injecting elements
- Fix font swap shift with correct loading and metrics
- Re-measure and hand you the before-and-after
Not included
- LCP and INP, which are separate diagnoses
- App-injected banners the vendor controls
Anything on the right is still something we do — it is simply a separate task, quoted separately, so this one keeps a fixed scope and a fixed price.
When it is done, you will have
- 1The change live on your store, published only after you approve it
- 2A clean diff you are welcome to read
- 3A short written note covering what changed and why
Before we start, we will need
- Collaborator access to your Shopify admin
- A sentence or a screenshot describing what you want
Questions people ask first
My score is fine in Lighthouse but Search Console says I fail.
That is the difference between lab and field data. Lighthouse loads once on a clean profile; Search Console reports real visitors with real connections and real app scripts. We work against the field data, because that is what Google ranks on.
