PRF-01·Speed & Core Web Vitals

Speed audit and action plan

Most speed advice is generic and most speed reports are a screenshot of a score. This is a measured baseline across your key templates, with the actual bottlenecks identified and ranked by what they would return against what they would cost to fix.

Standard task · 3–6 hours1–2 working daysWhole store

What’s included

  • Baseline lab and field measurement on your key templates, mobile and desktop
  • Identify the real bottlenecks rather than repeating the Lighthouse checklist
  • Rank every fix by impact against effort
  • An effort estimate against each item, so you can buy the ones you want

Not included

  • Implementing the fixes — each is its own task, which is the point of ranking them
  • Third-party app or CDN subscription costs

Anything on the right is still something we do — it is simply a separate task, quoted separately, so this one keeps a fixed scope and a fixed price.

When it is done, you will have

  • 1A written report with measured baselines and evidence
  • 2A ranked fix list, each item costed in effort
  • 3A recommendation on what to do first and what to ignore

Before we start, we will need

  • Collaborator access to your Shopify admin
  • Which templates matter most commercially

Questions people ask first

How is this different from running PageSpeed Insights myself?

PageSpeed tells you what is slow. It does not tell you which of those things is worth your money on your store, or how long each would take to fix. The ranking and the effort estimates are the deliverable.

Do I have to buy the fixes from you?

No. The report is written so any competent Shopify developer could work from it, and it is yours. Plenty of clients hand it to an in-house developer.
